ShinefyTerms of Use
These terms apply to Shinefy, an iPhone app by MediaHub Limited (“we”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

License
Shinefy is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add details about the app and its subscription; if they conflict with the standard EULA, the standard EULA applies.
Subscription and free trial
- Scanning is free. Some features, such as deleting from categories, adding to the Vault and full search results, require an auto-renewing subscription, Shinefy Pro. The app shows which features need it.
- Shinefy Pro is offered as a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial, a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Prices are shown in the app and in the App Store before you buy and may vary by country.
- A free trial is available once per Apple Account where Apple allows it. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before that.
- To manage or cancel your subscription, open Settings, tap your name (Apple Account), then Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
- To restore a subscription on a new or reset iPhone, tap Restore Purchases in Shinefy’s settings or on the subscription screen.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
What Shinefy does and doesn’t do
Shinefy helps you find items you may want to remove — similar photos, duplicates, screenshots, large videos, duplicate contacts, old calendar events and more — and keeps your files. Its suggestions, such as similar groups and the best shot, are made automatically and may not match your judgment: look through them before you confirm.
- Shinefy deletes only the items you confirm. Deleted photos and videos go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app and stay there for 30 days before iOS removes them permanently.
- With iCloud Photos turned on, deleting a photo or video on your iPhone also deletes it from iCloud and your other devices. Contacts you merge or delete and calendar events you delete change in every account they sync with.
- Converted photos and compressed videos are saved as new items. Compression reduces quality; when you choose to replace the originals, they go to Recently Deleted.
- The Vault is encrypted on your iPhone and isn’t synced or backed up. If you delete Shinefy or the encryption key is lost (for example, when you erase your iPhone or move to a new one), its content can’t be recovered. Keep copies of anything you can’t afford to lose.
- iOS doesn’t let apps access other apps’ data or system files, so Shinefy works only with what you give it access to: your photo library, contacts, calendars and the files you keep in it or connect to it.
Your content
Your photos, files and other content remain yours. Shinefy processes them on your iPhone only to provide its features. You are responsible for keeping backups of content that matters to you.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Shinefy to break the law, and don’t copy, modify, reverse-engineer or resell the app except as the law or the standard EULA allows.
Disclaimer
Shinefy is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in the standard EULA and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the loss of content that you chose to delete, that was stored only in the Vault or that wasn’t backed up.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. If a change materially affects you, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies.
